Job Description:

Support, maintain and update all hardware and software for TrueNorthLogic employees as well as assist our K-12 education clients with Tier 1 support issues.

Skills:

- Extensive knowledge of laptop and personal computer hardware set up and software installation.
- Knowledge of network administration for small business, including wiring and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

- Backups/Restores
- Security
- Implementing desktop software upgrades
- Support desk top operating systems: Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS X and Linux.
- Support remote clients/servers
- VPN connectivity - client setup & troubleshooting
- Support of BlackBerry & Trio users - device knowledge (hardware/software)
- Desktop support as needed (build computers, install anti-virus software, etc.)
- Misc. support (printers, alarm system, cable installation, etc.)
- Answer Help Desk phone and be on rotation
- Assist in testing software for quality assurance

Desired:

Knowledge of Cisco Pix Firewall Administration
Knowledge of Linux OS
