| Maintenance Supervisor The Homestead Resort is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager. Fluency and literacy in English is REQUIRED for this position. Supervisory or Management experience also required for the position. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Maintenance field and have extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including pool maintenance and heating and cooling systems. Electrical experience a plus. This person must be very detailed and organized – and a self-starter who is able to work with little supervision. Candidate must have the ability to interact and work well with all maintenance employees and be able to assist the Maintenance Manager in resolving issues within the department. Ideal candidate should also have the customer service skills required to interact well with all other departments on property as well as “exceed guest expectations” at the Homestead. On occasion, this person may be required to perform a variety of daily office functions including answering telephone calls, receiving maintenance requests, sending emails, working with vendors, running maintenance-related errands, processing some employee paperwork, as well as giving direction to the maintenance staff. Ideal candidate will have good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and have fluency and literacy in English AND Spanish. This person will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. Schedule is mainly Monday - Friday, with some weekend, evening, and Holiday work. Must have valid US Driver’s License and will be required to get CPR and First Aid certified (class offered at the Homestead). | |
